    My beliefs about education and teaching are that students need to be given the opportunity to fail and grow. Students will be able to gain a deeper understanding of content if they have opportunities to experiment rather than having to have a perfect finished project at the end of each lesson. Differentiation is an important part of teaching, it gives all the students a chance to be successful and I believe that all students should be given the all the opportunities and resources possible to make them as successful as possible. I also believe that students need to be able to enjoy and look forward to coming to class and learning. Classrooms need to be places where all students feel safe and comfortable in expressing themselves without fear of being judged. Students need a place to be confident and respected for their abilities. My beliefs come from what I have witnessed in classrooms that I have been welcomed into during my time in the PDS program and I hope that my beliefs on teaching and education will help me grow as an educator and help me to make an impact on my students.
